Is the 2005 Maserati Quattroporte a reliable car?

I'm thinking about buying a cheap exotic car since everything i have is paid off and i don't have much payments... I'm thinking about a Maserati Quattroporte.. Is this a reliable car for a 35 year old? How much a year do you think insurance would be? I'm definitely sure that i can afford this. I'm just wondering if it's a good reliable car.|||(Maserati it's not just Italian, it's actually owned by Fiat, so the forum category is perfect)

2005 is already the new Maserati course, so yes, it's quite reliable (if compared to other upper-premium brands). My only doubt is about the cost of maintenance (both ordinary and extraordinary). Here in Italy is in line with other brands of the same type, but you have to ask which is the situation for NA market (i guess paying a Maserati clutch as much as a Ferrari clutch would be quite bothering)|||I actually fancy them more than Ferraris! But it has to be said they have never been very reliable and garage bills are in line with other exotica. A Porsche is arguably the easiest and least worrying car in this bracket to own.
